Goals:

  1. Among the main objectives of the commission is the production of informative material, texts for students and sector operators.

  2. Sharing project ideas on the main research topics relating to the genetics and nutrition of companion animals

Activities 2022-2023:

 

  • Telematic meetings to organize the work;

  • Webinar on April 14, 2022“Obesity in dogs and cats: how much do genetics and nutrition matter?” in which approximately 100 users participated;

  • Webinar March, 16 2023: Interactions between genetics and environment in dog breeding. Speakers:

    • Sara Albarella – Genetic bases of growth disorders;

    • Stefano Paolo Marelli – Breeding techniques.
